Our School Mission

Our role is to best prepare children for life-long learning and to be effective participants within our society. To achieve this we need to provide a dynamic and interactive learning environment that engenders the development of personal attributes as well as academic achievement. The school and families interact closely to share in the role of raising and educating our children. Families support our school by being active in the P&C.

We believe that these skills and attributes will best prepare our children for “Learning for Life” and to be successful as active citizens in our society:

• A solid foundation in literacy and numeracy skills
• Confident and capable in teams as participants or leaders
• An awareness of their learning styles and how to utilise this awareness
• Be organised, self sufficient learners, who manage themselves and their resources effectively to achieve goals
• Participate and mix effectively in culturally diverse groups
• Be proficient users of ICTs and confident problem solvers
